La Grange cistercienne d'Oudun

Entirely restored using the latest techniques and know-how, you can admire the architecture and splendour that have been rediscovered in the last remaining large building of a major monastic complex founded in the 12th century. The Grange d'Oudun can be distinguished from other Cistercian barns by its lower room, vaulted on columns with sculpted capitals, and its upper room, once vaulted in barrel vaults. The gardens, created with the knowledge of the cultures of the time, will delight young and old alike.
